Dutch Iris Montecito
M5584
Description
Dutch Iris Montecito shines with creamy-white standards beautifully contrasted by sunny yellow falls. This elegant bloom exudes a sense of purity and warmth, bringing a touch of refined charm to any garden setting.
Its graceful form and soothing colours make it a perfect choice for creating tranquil, serene garden spaces. Whether used in borders, containers, or floral arrangements, Montecito delights with understated elegance and timeless beauty.
Care Guide
Cultivate Dutch Iris in a sunny area of the garden with free-draining soil.
Plant the teardrop bulbs in autumn with their pointy tips facing up, 10-15cm deep and 15cm apart in the soil. For best effect, grow in large groups.
Silky flowers in vibrant hues bloom during June and July on stems 50-95cm tall. Excellent for cutting. Leave some foliage behind to die back naturally and feed the bulb for next year’s flowers.
Bulbs will naturalise easily when left undisturbed in a warm, dry location.
