Description

Strap-like glaucous foliage contrasts with the mesmerising flowers of Narcissus ‘Bantam’, highlighting their eye-catching beauty.  A flattened and crinkled golden cup with a distinctive vibrant orange rim, sits nestled in a bed of rounded rich-yellow petals.

Brilliant for cutting, divinely scented and great for naturalising in garden borders, radiant Narcissus ‘Bantam’ is a worthy holder of the prestigious Award of Garden Merit from the RHS.

Care Guide

Plant Daffodil and Narcissi bulbs in autumn, ideally in mid September to early October to enable roots to establish before a period of cold in winter. A position in full sun or light shade is best and good drainage is essential. Daffodils and Narcissi are long lasting and naturalise well, providing a welcoming display every spring. Ideal for borders, containers, rock gardens and open grass. Plant the bulbs 10-20cm deep and apart, depending on variety. A good rule of thumb is to plant bulbs 2-3 times their depth. Flowers appear in March and April and should be deadheaded once faded. The foliage should be left to turn yellow and fade naturally on the plant as this helps to feed the bulbs for next year’s blooms.
