Description

Dwarf Cyclamineus Daffodil ‘Winter Waltz’ produces elegant white petals surrounding a long yellow-apricot trumpet that deepens in colour as the blooms mature. The graceful flowers of narcissus ‘Winter Waltz’ bring warmth and movement to early spring borders, patio pots, and rockeries, with their swept-back form adding extra charm and delicacy.

Compact and easy to grow, this refined variety flowers reliably through the early season, pairing beautifully with muscari and other smaller spring bulbs for a soft and harmonious display.

Care Guide

Plant Daffodil and Narcissi bulbs in autumn, ideally in mid September to early October to enable roots to establish before a period of cold in winter.

A position in full sun or light shade is best and good drainage is essential. Daffodils and Narcissi are long lasting and naturalise well, providing a welcoming display every spring.

Ideal for borders, containers, rock gardens and open grass.

Plant the bulbs 10-20 cm deep and apart, depending on variety. A good rule of thumb is to plant bulbs 2-3 times their depth.

Flowers appear in March and April and should be deadheaded once faded. The foliage should be left to turn yellow and fade naturally on the plant as this helps to feed the bulbs for next year’s blooms.
