Description

Large Cupped Narcissi ‘Sophie Girl’ produces elegant pure white petals surrounding a softly coloured peach-pink cup finished with a deeper pink rim. The delicate colouring of daffodil ‘Sophie Girl’ creates a refined and romantic spring display, bringing gentle warmth and timeless charm to borders, containers, and seasonal planting schemes.

Graceful and beautifully balanced, this enchanting variety pairs effortlessly with pastel tulips, white narcissi, and softer spring bulbs. Flowering reliably through spring, it adds subtle sophistication and a calm, luminous beauty to the garden year after year.

Care Guide

Plant Daffodil and Narcissi bulbs in autumn, ideally in mid September to early October to enable roots to establish before a period of cold in winter.

A position in full sun or light shade is best and good drainage is essential. Daffodils and Narcissi are long lasting and naturalise well, providing a welcoming display every spring.

Ideal for borders, containers, rock gardens and open grass.

Plant the bulbs 10-20 cm deep and apart, depending on variety. A good rule of thumb is to plant bulbs 2-3 times their depth.

Flowers appear in March and April and should be deadheaded once faded. The foliage should be left to turn yellow and fade naturally on the plant as this helps to feed the bulbs for next year’s blooms.
