Glamini Gladioli Luna
G5008
Description
Glamini Gladioli 'Luna' is a dwarf gladiolus cultivar distinguished by its compact stature and vibrant yellow, funnel-shaped flowers. Part of the Glamini series, this variety reaches 50–60 cm in height, flowering from mid to late summer.
Full of sunshine, Glamini Gladioli ‘Luna’ brings a joyful burst of stunning sunlit yellow colour wherever it grows.
de Jager top quality, top size Glamini Gladioli are best grown in fertile, well-drained soil, in a sunny spot. Plant the corms a week or two apart throughout spring for a long succession of pretty flowers.
Care Guide
To cultivate Gladioli, choose a sunny site with well-drained, well-manured garden soil. Dig a trench 15cm deep and place the corms 10-15cm apart, covering with soil and ensuring they sit 5cm below the surface. Water regularly, maintaining soil moisture until growth is established, and during hot, dry spells of weather. Stagger planting at two-week intervals to ensure continuous flowering over a long period. Expect stately, colourful spikes reaching 60-90cm in height which many require staking for support. The smaller variety ‘Glamini’ Gladioli will reach a maximum height of 50cm.
