Exhibition Hyacinth Woodstock
H2518
Description
Hyacinth ‘Woodstock’ is an opulent and expressive variety, producing deep bishop’s purple flower spikes with one of the darkest hues available in hyacinths. Richly coloured and heavily scented, it brings dramatic impact to spring borders, containers, and formal displays.
Its bold tones pair especially well with yellow varieties for striking visual contrast, while the strong stems of exhibition hyacinth Woodstock blooms ensure an impressive and reliable garden performance year after year.
Care Guide
They like a light, well-drained soil situated in a sunny and sheltered part of the garden. Plant 12 cm deep, 15cm apart.

Turkestanica
T1011
Bearing an astounding 9 or more snow-white flowers per bulb, Tulip Species ‘Turkestanica’ boasts a dramatic, densely packed display. A buttercup yellow core glows beside the surrounding, immaculate white petals which feature a green and bronze flush to the exterior. A supremely elegant heirloom tulip for incorporating into containers, rockeries, borders, and lawns.
This is the ultimate variety for naturalising into drifts of dancing blooms. Particularly remarkable for its equally attractive seed-heads, which scatter freely to expand the show even further. The RHS has conferred an Award of Garden Merit upon tulipa ‘Turkestanica’ in acknowledgement of the reliability it offers in the garden.

Purple Sensation
H2858
Hyacinth ‘Purple Sensation’ bears densely clustered stems of rich amethyst florets.
The charming flowers emit a heady fragrance as they bloom in mid-winter – a time when spring flowers, colour and scent are such a charming addition to the home.
These specially prepared bulbs have been treated to flower indoors at Christmastime, if potted up in September and kept in a dark, cool room until early December when they can be moved into their final position to be enjoyed.
New Hyacinth ‘Purple Sensation’ is also perfect for forcing in water. Place each prepared bulb in the top of a hyacinth vase, with the base sitting just above, but not touching water level. Roots will rapidly appear, seeking out the water below before stems elongate and burst into flower.
de Jager's top quality, top size bulbs really make a huge difference in terms of flowering.

Honky Tonk
T1033
Like the lively country music of the same name, Tulip ‘Honky Tonk’ is an upbeat, sprightly tulip to put a spring in your step. Flutes of cheerful yellow blooms are blushed with soft pink, opening in the warmth of spring sunshine, and closing to a neat point by night. This Species variety multiplies well and is ideal for naturalising amongst grass, with its green-blue foliage featuring a delicately waved edge.
A compact habit means these blooms are equally suited to brightening containers and edging borders. The RHS have honoured tulipa ‘Honky Tonk’ with an Award of Garden Merit, the seal of approval for garden performance.
