M5265
Description
Exquisite, dainty flowers in shades of pink, bloom from September to November on charming Cyclamen ‘Mirabile’. The sweet nodding flowers feature petals with serrated edges and a blotch of magenta at the base of each lobe.
Heart-shaped, dark green leaves with beautiful silver markings form a pretty bed of attractive groundcover – a perfect backdrop to enhance these whimsical autumn flowers. Cyclamen ‘Mirabile’ is the recipient of an Award of Garden Merit from the RHS for garden excellence and beauty. Plants will naturalise easily, forming captivating swathes of colour.
Plant the corms shallowly, just below the surface of well-drained, humus-rich soil in a partly shaded area of your garden. Also suitable for container planting.
Care Guide
Plant your Cyclamen in a shaded location, in well-drained, rich soil.
Prefers shallow planting, 5 cm deep, spaced 15 cm apart in the soil. Provide moderate watering, keeping the soil consistently moist. Avoid waterlogging.
Delicate stems of dainty, upswept blooms rise to heights of 10-15 cm from a bed of heart-shaped attractive foliage. Flowering period depends on particular variety.
After planting, leave undisturbed to settle and naturalise. Blooms may not appear until the second season.
