May Flowering Tulip Slawa
T1715
Description
Triumph tulip ‘Slawa’ is an intriguing, exotic-looking flower for the late spring garden. Contrasting two-toned petals of Bordeaux red with a coppery-apricot trim open up gently in the May sunshine. The clashing colours meet with a feathered fuchsia streak, adding to the deliciously dramatic look.
Plant in deep containers and garden borders with complimentary tulips, spring bulbs, and dark foliage plants to enhance the striking colours.
A luxurious tulip. tulip 'Slawa' is perfect for cutting which will be a sure talking point in floral displays.
Care Guide
October to November are the optimum months for planting Tulip bulbs. The cooler late-autumn temperatures help to keep disease at bay, whilst still allowing time for your bulbs to put roots down before spring.
Any well-drained, fertile soil is perfect for Tulips, ideally in full sun or part shade. Plant the bulbs 10-20 cm deep, spaced 10-20 cm apart. A piece of chicken wire or mesh can be placed on top of the soil or pots after planting if squirrels or rodents are a problem in your area.
After flowering in March to May, remove withered stems, foliage and any fallen petals to promote good plant health and apply a top dressing of high-potash fertiliser in late winter.

Passionale
T1374
The meaning of Mid Season Tulip ‘Passionale’ is ‘passionate’, and this is certainly a tulip to inspire feelings of ardour. Prized for its lustrous, amethyst petals framed by a band of deeper purple, the neat blooms flare outwards to give a curvaceous contour. As the flowers relax and open in the sunshine, you may glimpse the sulphur yellow anthers peeping out from the centre.
This marvellous, mid-season variety lends its rich opulence to borders, container displays and floral arrangements. In recognition of its superior quality and reliability, tulip ‘Passionale’ has been granted the honour of an RHS Award of Garden Merit.

Leichtlinii Alba
M5202
June flowering, pure white Camassia ‘Leichtlinii Alba’ is a garden treasure, perfect for planting to sparkle in long, grassy areas of garden.
Star-like, glittering ivory florets are clustered along tall, strong stems, lasting for several weeks. Opening upwards from the base of their stems, the Camassia ‘Leichtlinii Alba’ blooms make wonderful, graceful cut flowers.
The bulbs of Camassias are most happy in humus-rich, moist, well-drained soil in sun or part shade and are ideal for naturalising in generous drifts through the garden. Early-summer Alliums make brilliant bedfellows for Camassias, the contrast between colour and shape work well in both modern and traditional planting schemes.
