Fritillaria Imperialis William Rex
M5385
Description
Stately and distinguished, Fritillaria Imperialis William Rex features dark, bronzy-red flowers which exude an air of regal sophistication. Rich, deep-hued blooms create a dramatic contrast against lush green foliage, adding an element of elegance and depth to the garden.
The sturdy stems and robust growth of William Rex ensure it stands tall and proud, making this a magnificent focal point. Gardeners will appreciate the timeless beauty and commanding presence of this variety, which infuses landscapes with a sense of majesty and grandeur.
Care Guide
Failing to flower after the first year is due to a lack of potash fertiliser, which is necessary for spurring bloom formation for the following year’s flowering.
Plant large bulbs 15cm (6”) deep and small bulbs 8cm (3”) deep, in well-drained soil.
Plant bulbs on their side to prevent water getting into the hollow crown.
